JM's Spider™ Custom Insulation System meets new codes standards across the country. Spider is a Formaldehidy-free™ fiber glass insulation that sprays in almost dry, completely filling gaps and voids around electrical fixtures, pipes and other obstructions to give you superior insulation coverage. Plus, unlike cellulose, Spider™ insulation will not settle or shrink, and it's inorganic and naturally mold-resistant. Higher R-values mean greater energy savings. Spider™ Custom Insulation achieves R-values up to R-15 in 2x4 walls and R-23 in 2x6 walls, so it meets or exceeds Title 24 requirements. In fact, since it's designed for walls, SpiderT insulation can achieve an R-value of 4.2 per inch of thickness - much more than the maximum 3.7 per inch R-value that wall-spray cellulose and open-cell foam products provide.
