Staff Profiles
Key Office Personnel
Jim Yaresh, Owner - As one of the founding partners of Grade A Construction, Inc., Jim saw the advantage Grade A would have in the market if he and John could perfect the three-pronged attack of Insulation, Drywall, and Painting and Staining. Jim handles the residential bidding for insulation and drywall, supplier discussions and negotiations, builder relations and overall daily operations. He and John have set the pace for Grade A's reputation for quality, reliability, service and innovation, and have been on target for over 25 years.
John Trzesniewski, Owner - As the other founding partner of Grade A Construction, Inc., John wanted to follow through on his belief that the drywall process could be handled more efficiently than had been done in the past. A master at effectively sizing up a job on a walk-through, John still has the thrill of the field driving him through the day. He also oversees the company's insurance, benefits, safety program, commercial bidding for steel studs, insulation and drywall, remodeling projects, some builder relations, drywall product vendor relations, and specialty applications.
Kathy Yaresh, Office Coordinator - Kathy's is typically the first warm greeting you hear when you call our office. Kathy manages most of the office operations, including accounts payable, payroll, company insurance, personnel and human resources. Her involvement is often behind the scenes, but critical to the daily operations and she is a key personality at Grade A.
Don Salentine, Production & Quality Control Manager - Having written Grade A's procedures for our Drywall division, Don knows exactly what is needed to maintain the "Grade A" quality of work that our customers have come to expect. Don manages the rocking, tape & finish and texture spray crews, supervises the drywall field supervisors, controls all scheduling within the drywall and texture spray phases and approves all methods and techniques used by these trades, while striving for nothing short of top notched quality.
Mike Koklas, Paint Division Manager - Mike has transformed his field skills and technical mastery into what has become one of the highest quality painting companies in Wisconsin. Mike has been blessed with the ability to pump quality, the lifeblood of Grade A, into each of his painters. With over 30 years in the painting business, Mike is more knowledgeable that most manufacturers in the areas of interior & exterior painting, fine wood staining, lacquer application, exterior wood and deck surface treating, concrete sealing, minor mold remediation in new construction, and is a licensed lead paint remediator. He is always a valuable resource to our builders and homeowners, and a key individual in our three-phase approach.
Carrie Smith, Communications Coordinator - A valuable staff member, Carrie keeps the Drywall Repair and Paint Divisions on track by handling purchase orders, job set-ups, scheduling and processing punch lists from our builders. She is also a key player in coordinating our computer and filing systems. Working closely with the field supervisors and our builders' expeditors, Carrie will make sure your job is scheduled and completed to your satisfaction.
Field Supervisors
Rick Daoust, Field Supervisor (Insulation) - Rick is our key man for converting paperwork into a quality insulation system and leading jobs in the right direction from the start. Rick knows the ins and outs of insulation, creates productive crews, schedules jobs, maintains our equipment, estimates re-insulation work and audits insulation jobs for quality workmanship, safety and system applications. Another 14+ year member of the Grade A staff who cares about quality, Rick takes pride in how properly installed insulation looks and will go the extra mile to get things done for the customer.
Wade Zaffke, Field Supervisor (Drywall) - 15 years in the field mastering the techniques has earned Wade the respect that makes him a quality field supervisor for our Greater Milwaukee Drywall Division customers. One of the leaders of our "Steel Stud Crew" and a member of Grade A's Safety Committee, he is a team player who is not afraid to strap on the tool belt in an effort to help stereotype the term trade partner.
Jeff Yaresh, Field Supervisor (Drywall) - Jeff makes sure our hanging, taping, finishing, texturing and basecoat applications are done right, the first time. He is also a leader of the "Steel Stud Crew" and Grade A's Safety Committee. Since he is accountable for every job we do, Jeff takes it personally and abides by the standard of "take care of it as if it were your own".
Dan Semrow, Field Supervisor (Textures & Sprays) - Dan worked his way to Field Supervisor, starting his career as a sprayer with Grade A over 20 years ago. Being a key transition point from drywall to paint, Dan is on top of each project as it progresses into the Paint Division. The kind of guy who jumps in head first, when needed, Dan also is involved with the Safety Committee, oversees fleet maintenance issues, and handles on-going training for the texture and spray crews.
John Yaresh, Field Supervisor (Drywall Repairs) - With over 14 years of experience in the field, John is responsible for keeping our drywall repair crews on the cutting edge of drywall repair techniques and skills. He also runs many of Grade A's finish crews, as well as overseeing remodeling jobs for the company. John attacks each job with professionalism, an eye for detail and a determination to provide a high quality finished product to our customers.
Daniel Berry, Field Supervisor (Brush & Roll) - Daniel brings his continental perspective on painting to Grade A all the way from Florida where he mastered all facets of the trade from his late father. A true professional, Daniel has earned respect for his versatility and breadth of knowledge in, and beyond, the realm of painting and staining.
